BA (Hons) Business Management (University of Greenwich)

UG university business management degree has been designed for newcomers to managerial roles or anyone with some practical managerial experience who wants to develop their management skills across business and management disciplines.

Through this course you will develop a broad understanding of business management essentials by learning about leadership and management skills, business strategy, organisational behaviour, cross-cultural management, business research methods, ethics, marketing, and finance. You can also choose a project type that suits your interests (dissertation, consultancy project, or international entrepreneurship project).

Your studies will emerge with interpersonal and transferable skills and open a world of new opportunities to build a successful career as a business manager or to start your own business. Graduates of this course go into a range of business management roles in the private, public, and voluntary sectors in large companies, SMEs, start-ups, social enterprises, and charities.

Admission Requirement / Eligibility Criteria

Entry criteria

GCSEs

Five GCSEs at grade 4 or above including English and Maths
Plus one of the following:

A levels

A typical offer is 112 UCAS points. You need to study at least two subjects at A Level or equivalent (e.g. BTEC)
T Levels

Merit
BTEC

BTEC National Diploma - Distinction/Distinction/Merit
BTEC Extended Diploma - Distinction/Distinction/Merit
Alternative qualifications include:

Pass in the QAA accredited Access to HE overall 112 UCAS tariff  with at least 30 L3 credits at Merit.
English and Maths GCSE required as separate qualification. Equivalency not accepted within the Access qualification. We will normally require students to have had a break from full-time education before undertaking the Access course. 
International Baccalaureate: 26+ points.

If English is not your first language an IELTS score of 6.0 overall with 5.5 in each band (or equivalent) when you start the course is essential.
