Bachelor of Commerce (Management and Human Resource Management)

Get the skills needed to enter a career in management or human resource management. In Management, you’ll focus on challenges facing managers, such as the relationship between people and organisations, performance, change, innovation and technology. In Human Resource Management, you’ll cover topics such as staff selection, promotion, learning and development, and remuneration. You’ll discover how to engage a highly committed and capable workforce to operate in the global business world. 

During your first year of the Bachelor of Commerce, you will complete the common core units which will provide an introduction to the various aspects of business. You do not need to make a final decision on a single or combined major until your second semester.

Admission Requirement / Eligibility Criteria

FOR INDIA

  • Successful completion of the Indian School Certificate (ISC) awarded by Council for the Indian School Certificate Examinations (CISCE) with a grade average of at least 60% from the best four subjects OR
  • Successful completion of the All India Senior School Certificate/ Delhi Senior School Certificate Examination awarded by the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) with a grade average of 60% in the best four subjects OR
  • Successful completion of the Higher Secondary School Certificate awarded by one of the recognised Higher Secondary Education Boards in India with a grade average of 65% in the best five subjects.

FOR BANGLADESH

  • Bangladesh Higher Secondary Certificate (HSC) with a minimum Grade Point average of 4.0

FOR NEPAL

  • From 2018 – Successful completion of School Leaving Certificate Examination (Grade XI & XII) awarded by the National Examination Board with at least Cumulative Grade Point Average (CGPA) of 3.0
    OR
  • Prior to 2018 – Successful completion of Higher Secondary Education Board Examination (HSC) awarded by the Higher Secondary Education Board with at least 68% of the Grand Total score (i.e. 680 out of 1000)

FOR SRI LANKA

  • Successful completion of Sri Lankan General Certificate of Education (GCE) Advanced Level with at least 5 points from the best three subjects (excluding General English).
