Bachelor of Commerce (Accounting and Finance)

Study accounting practice, business law, auditing, taxation and financial management. In this double major, you’ll gain a broad understanding of the structure and operations of financial markets.

In the accounting major, you will have a sound foundation in accounting, auditing, taxation and relevant areas of business law and financial management, and be able to apply to knowledge across a range of accounting contexts.

The finance major gives you a broad understanding of the structure and operations of financial markets. You’ll learn about investment evaluation and how to make decisions on funding activities and disbursement of profits. You’ll also examine the role of financial markets.

Admission Requirement / Eligibility Criteria

FOR INDIA

Successful completion of the Indian School Certificate (ISC) awarded by Council for the Indian School Certificate Examinations (CISCE) with a grade average of at least 60% from the best four subjects OR
Successful completion of the All India Senior School Certificate/ Delhi Senior School Certificate Examination awarded by the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) with a grade average of 60% in the best four subjects OR
Successful completion of the Higher Secondary School Certificate awarded by one of the recognised Higher Secondary Education Boards in India with a grade average of 65% in the best five subjects.
Prerequisites: Mathematics

FOR BANGLADESH

Bangladesh Higher Secondary Certificate (HSC) with a minimum Grade Point average of 4.0

FOR NEPAL

From 2018 – Successful completion of School Leaving Certificate Examination (Grade XI & XII) awarded by the National Examination Board with at least Cumulative Grade Point Average (CGPA) of 3.0
OR
Prior to 2018 – Successful completion of Higher Secondary Education Board Examination (HSC) awarded by the Higher Secondary Education Board with at least 68% of the Grand Total score (i.e. 680 out of 1000)
