Teaching, learning and research are brought together  so that research informs the curriculum content and students learn by exploring real-world problems in our innovative spaces including the FinTech Innovation Hub, Ammon Pinizzotto Biopharmaceutical Innovation Center, the Patrick T. Harker Interdisciplinary Science and Engineering Lab, the Mechanical Engineering Design Studio and iSuite.

Our internationally recognized faculty includes 34 named professors, 6 National Academy of Engineers members, 60 NSF and DOD faculty career and young investigator awards and 19 University teaching award recipients. World-class faculty share their expertise through 18 research centers and institutes, providing a fertile training ground for future engineers.
