Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages (TESOL) with Applied Linguistics, MA

The MA in TESOL with Applied Linguistics will enable you to link theory to practice. You will further develop your knowledge about teaching English to non-native speakers of the language from your current foundation. This postgraduate degree course will equip you with a thorough grounding in teaching methodology, the way in which language is learned and understanding of how the English language works as well as extending your knowledge in specific areas through the optional modules.  It will also help you to develop the analytical and reflective skills you need to continue to develop as a professional.

English is the world’s foremost language, and literally millions are learning it. Teaching English is a truly rewarding and fulfilling career, and one which will enable you to travel widely and come into contact with other cultures. There is an increasing demand for well-qualified TESOL professionals around the world.
