There is high demand for graduates with an in-depth understanding of the intertwined activities of states, businesses and nongovernmental organisations. Global governance has particular relevance to policy makers and following graduation, you will be well prepared to enter or progress further in careers in government, international organisations, the diplomatic service, nongovernmental organisations, policy work, and the voluntary sector.

You will be introduced to theories and concepts drawn from international relations, which will enable you to apply to the analysis of emerging global challenges. The supervised research project will also enable you to develop greater expertise in a specialist topic. The focus on applied analysis, real world case studies and exposure to internationally recognised business and policy professionals, will ensure that you gain practical skills that will allow you to make a direct positive contribution in your chosen profession.

Graduates can also progress to a PhD or research degree.

India

Academic Qualifications

• 3 Year degree (B.COM, BBA, B.SC, BCA, etc) at 60% (or CGPA of 6.0/10) and above in the final year from a recognized Indian university for entry to a relevant postgraduate program.
• 4 or 5 Year degrees (B.E, BTECH, B PHARM, B. ARCH, etc)  at 55% % (or CGPA of 5.8/10) in the final year from a recognized Indian university for entry to a relevant postgraduate program.
• 50% (or CGPA 5.5/10) minimum from the following Indian universities: the University of Mumbai, University of Delhi, University of Pune, Jadavpur University or University of Calcutta 

Nepal

Academic Qualifications

• A first division Bachelor's degree from a recognized university (65% or above/CGPA 2.6/4.0).
• Applicants with a Masters's degree will be considered for entry to Ph.D. studies.

Sri Lanka

Academic Qualifications

• Bachelor Special degree will be considered for masters or graduate diploma level study.
• Bachelor General degree with very high grades may be considered
• MBA applicants should have one of the above qualifications plus at least 2 years of post-graduation work experience.
