Bachelor of Fine Arts / EPAC Diploma
The first year marks the beginning of a process that will lead the learner to develop his own universe. The two semesters, punctuated by professional internships and practical work, will allow him to try out the different artistic mediums and to begin to make provisional choices, both in terms of techniques and the conceptual framework. This year should allow him to explore the field of possibilities and to affirm, little by little, the path in which he wishes to embark in the second year. In this sense, it remains a phase of transition.
The student starts his real creative process in the second year. He chooses from the start of the school year the specialization in which he will evolve. Three areas are thus open to him: illustration and comics, painting or new media.
If many courses will be followed in the common core, and form the necessary base for any artist regardless of his orientation, the specializations come to reinforce targeted areas. The learner also develops transversal skills that will be essential throughout his career: autonomy of work, management of deadlines, calculation of possibilities according to the objective sought.
The year of graduation is a key stage at two levels: firstly, it leads the student to produce a coherent work within a successful conceptual framework, a real passport for the professional world; secondly, it marks the culmination of the end of a course which attests to one's skills and leads to a diploma.
The EPAC diploma is awarded to students after 4 years of study.
The EPAC diploma and the Bachelor of Fine Arts accredited by EQ-Arts is awarded to students after 3 years of study, necessary prerequisites (CFC, Maturity).
