The Singapore Institute of Management is a prominent education and lifelong learning institution in the region. The Singapore Institute of Management (SIM Group) was founded in 1964 on the initiative of the Economic Development Board (EDB) to support Singapore’s industrialisation. A professional management institute was set up and Dr Richard Eu Keng Mun was invited to be our Founding Chairman.
We started with the social mission of advancing management excellence and developing manpower in support of Singapore’s growing need for professional leadership and managerial know-how. Today, we are reputed for our commitment to a high standard of professionalism and quality, and relevance to industry.

Singapore Institute of Management Pte Ltd, which offers programmes under SIM Global Education and SIM International Academy, is among the first private education institutions (PEIs) to be registered under the Committee for Private Education’s (CPE) Enhanced Registration Framework, a mandatory registration for all PEIs operating in and from Singapore
Singapore Institute of Management Pte Ltd has also been awarded the EduTrust certification by the CPE since May 2010. The EduTrust certification recognises PEIs that have robust academic systems and processes and have attained quality standards in the delivery of education.
AsiaOne People's Choice Awards: Best Private Institute
For the eighth year running, SIM Global Education was voted one of the top three Best Private Institutes by AsiaOne readers at the AsiaOne People’s Choice Awards 2016.
SIM Global Education was also inducted into the Hall of Fame at AsiaOne People's Choice Awards 2013 for having won the award five times.

SIM PD has been voted a top training provider under the HR Vendors of the Year Awards organised by the Human Resources magazine for several consecutive years. It has maintained the top three spots in the Best Management Training Provider category from 2009 to 2017.
Business Continuity Management System Certified to be Compliant with ISO 22301:2012
SIM’s Business Continuity Management (BCM) System is certified by The British Standards Institution to be compliant with the requirements of ISO 22301:2012.
The objective of SIM’s BCM is to safeguard the interests of stakeholders by ensuring the prompt resumption of essential teaching, academic and admission services in the event of business disruption.
