What is the cost of studying in Malta?

For undergraduation in Arts or Business programs, the tuition fee for 8 credits is 1,080 Euros approximately. At the same time, for undergraduate Science programs the tuition fee is approximately 1,360 Euros. Full-time undergraduate courses are free of charge to citizens of Malta and the European Union. Also, Maltese students who are enrolled in higher education courses in Malta are entitled to a stipend.

Apart from the tuition fees, students will have to incur other living costs including accommodation, clothing, food, medical and other miscellaneous costs. The main accommodation options for international students are staying on-campus or off-campus. The residence for students are cheaper, charging around 250 Euros monthly. The other alternative is to stay at rented apartments which costs at least 700 Euros.

Local students on an average spend 200-150 Euros monthly and if you plan to travel and eat out a lot, this cost will vary accordingly.
