Global Reach marks 35 years: Celebrating Trust, Excellence, and Global Impact at GRRM 2025

Global Reach marked a landmark milestone this year - 35 years of guiding students towards global success - with the 2025 edition of the Global Reach Recharge Meet (GRRM) held in New Delhi on 28-29 November.

The two-day gathering brought together Global Reach teams from across India and South Asia, along with university partners and leaders from around the world, celebrating a legacy built on trust, integrity, and a commitment to quality education.

Day 1: Honouring the Past, Shaping the Future

The celebrations began with a warm welcome by Chairman Dr. Sitasaran Singh and a ceremonial lamp-lighting led by Managing Director Ravi Lochan Singh. In his inspiring address, Mr. Sitaran Singh reflected on Global Reach’s journey since 1991 - its founding values, steady evolution, and enduring mission to empower students through ethical guidance.

The day’s discussions set the tone for the future.
A high-energy panel discussion on “2026 Opportunities in Global Education Markets”, moderated by Aditeya Lochan Singh, brought together key voices to analyse shifting trends and growth opportunities. This session was graced by Dirk Mulder, CEO, Koala News.

Later, an insightful session on “International Student Mobility in South Asia 2025–26” featured representatives from top universities - including Macquarie, La Trobe, Galway, Waikato, Queen Mary, Melbourne, and Deakin - exploring demand trends, policy dynamics, and changing student priorities.

Mr. George Thiveos, Minister Counsellor (Education & Research, South Asia) at the Australian High Commission, delivered a keynote reaffirming Australia’s strong educational partnership with South Asia.

The day also saw the launch of the upgraded Uapp and the announcement of AUSMUN (Punjab), underlining Global Reach’s expanding footprint in academic enrichment and youth leadership.

Evening brought magic - quite literally - as mentalist Suhani Shah took the stage for Shaam-e-Suhani, captivating the audience with her extraordinary performance.

Day 2: Insight. Inspiration. Innovation.

The second day opened with an invigorating address by General Manager Ratan Mukherjee and Principal Consultant (HR) V. Natarajan, paving the way for a series of knowledge-rich sessions.

Jon Chew, Chief Insights Officer at Navitas, presented a compelling analysis of global student mobility, followed by a panel moderated by Minakshi Basak that unpacked market implications for the coming year.

A major highlight was the keynote by John Buchanan, the legendary coach of the Australian cricket team, facilitated by The University of Queensland. Drawing parallels between sports and leadership, Buchanan’s message — “If better is possible, good is not enough” — resonated deeply with the audience.

Destination insights followed from Education New Zealand’s Jugnu Roy and Austrade’s Vik Singh, spotlighting what lies ahead for 2026. A robust panel on Transnational Education (TNE), featuring voices from Austrade, Education New Zealand, Careers360, OneStep Global, UQ, and Acumen/Sannam S4, explored how institutions are adapting to new learning models and student preferences.

Maheshwar Peri, Founder & CEO of Careers360, closed the learning sessions with a thought-provoking keynote on Indian student aspirations and the evolving motivations driving overseas study.

The afternoon turned inward, celebrating Global Reach’s Great Place to Work journey, branch achievements, and strategic priorities for 2026 — reaffirming the organisation’s focus on culture, collaboration, and continuous growth.

The evening culminated in the Awards Night at Habibi Lounge, where outstanding performers across the organisation were recognised for their dedication and excellence.

Looking Ahead: 35 Years of Legacy, Infinite Horizons Ahead

As Global Reach celebrates three and a half decades of excellence, GRRM 2025 stood as a vibrant reflection of its core values - integrity, innovation, and student success.

The event not only honoured a remarkable journey but also set the stage for an exciting future - one defined by stronger partnerships, bold initiatives, and an unwavering commitment to shaping the next generation of global learners.

From legacy to leadership, Global Reach continues to redefine what it means to guide dreams - one student at a time.
