Admission Requirement / Eligibility Criteria
You must demonstrate a level of maturity, motivation and potential consistent with the demands of a professional management program and a successful career in international business. We assess these characteristics based on your resumé, references, personal statements (essays), extra-curricular activities, personal and professional accomplishments, awards, recognitions, etc.
- The MGB program is a pre-experience master’s program. You should have no more than 5 years of post-graduation work experience.
- You have earned the equivalent of at least a B average over the last 2 years (or equivalent of 30 UVic units) of your degree.
- You have completed, or are about to complete an acceptable Bachelor's degree (or recognized equivalent from an academic institution recognized by the University of Victoria). We ask that all applicants complete the following 5 business fundamental courses with a minimum grade of B- in each individual course:
- Finance
- International business
- Accounting
- Marketing
- Organizational behaviour/human resource management
- GMAT score is not required.
- Work experience is preferred but not required.
