However, unlike other countries, there is no difference in the fees of the students of the European Union and Non-European Union countries.

The average tuition fee for a Bachelor's or Master's degree is 1,600 Euros per year. For Ph.D. the tuition fee is around 100-200 Euros per year. However, the fee for certain disciplines might be higher especially Medicine, where the tuition fee can be as high as 16,000 Euros per year.

In case of Private universities, the tuition fee range is between 1,500 to 16,000 Euros per year. Pursuing Ph.D. in Switzerland is famous as many universities pay the research scholars for their work.

The cost of living is however very high in Switzerland. Students should expect their monthly expenses to be at least 1,300 to 1,800 per month. This includes Housing, Food, Transportation and other miscellaneous charges. However, these costs largely depends on the location and lifestyle of the students.
