Overview
In a highly competitive global environment, innovation is one of the key areas in which businesses can ensure their success and establish a competitive advantage. In this program, you will develop an advanced understanding of organizations, their management, the changing external context in which they operate and the importance of innovation.
This program is specifically designed for students who wish to develop their skills and knowledge to pursue a management career in a globalized environment.
You will cover topics such as: the development and operation of markets in relation to resources, goods and services; the economic, environmental, ethical, legal, political, sociological and technological external context, together with its effect at local, national and international levels upon organisations; the role of marketing in relation to customers, their expectations and their location; the management and development of people within organisations; the nature of organisations – their internal functions and processes; their diverse purposes, structures and governance, and the individual and corporate behaviours and cultures which exist within and between organisations and their influence on the external context; and the role of business innovation, creativity, and knowledge management within organisations.
This programme will:
- Develop your understanding of markets, the external context, customers, organisations and their people
- Teach you how to think critically about business and the innovation process, which are necessary to continue developing each company
- Equip you with the knowledge and skills to assist with managing the innovation process in companies
- Develop your problem solving ability in the business environment

PSW Opportunity
- 2 Years PSW is applicable after completing a minimum duration of 9 months course (like- Undergraduate, Postgraduate Level)
- 3 Years PSW is applicable after completing PhD level courses.
Admission Requirement / Eligibility Criteria
FOR INDIA
We normally consider the following qualifications for entry to our postgraduate taught programmes: Bachelor Degree (minimum 3 years) from selected institutions.
- UK 1st class degree: 75% to 80%
- UK 2:1 degree: 60% to 70%
- UK 2:2 degree: 50% to 60%
Offer conditions will vary depending on the institution you are applying from. For some institutions/degrees we will ask for different grades to above, so this is only a guide.
For India, offers may be made on the GPA scale. We do not consider the Bachelor of Vocation (B. Voc.) for Masters entry.
FOR BANGLADESH
We normally consider the following qualifications for entry to our postgraduate taught programmes: Bachelor Degree (minimum 4 years) from selected institutions.
- UK 1st class degree: GPA 3.2 to 3.7 out of 4.0
- UK 2:1 degree: GPA 3.0 to 3.3 out of 4.0
- UK 2:2 degree: GPA 2.3 to 2.7 out of 4.0
Offer conditions will vary depending on the institution you are applying from. For some institutions/degrees we will ask for different grades to above, so this is only a guide.
FOR NEPAL
We normally consider the following qualifications for entry to our postgraduate taught programmes: Bachelor Degree (minimum 4 years) from selected institutions.
- UK 1st class degree: 80%; or GPA 3.7 out of 4.0
- UK 2:1 degree: 65%; or GPA 3.0 out of 4.0
- UK 2:2 degree: 55%; or GPA of 2.4 out of 4.0
Bachelor in Nursing Science are not considered equivalent to UK Bachelor degrees.
FOR SRI LANKA
We normally consider the following qualifications for entry to our postgraduate taught programmes: Bachelor Degree (Special or Honours) or Bachelor Degree (Professional) (minimum 4 years) from a recognised institution.
