We have been teaching forestry at Bangor for more than 110 years, and there has never been a more exciting time to enter the profession. Our degrees will prepare you for the challenge of managing forests for the many benefits they provide, at a time of global environmental change. Forests, vital to the global ecosystem, cover 30% of the world’s land area. Forestry is concerned with the understanding and sustainable management of these forests for the benefit of society.

PSW Opportunity
- 2 Years PSW is applicable after completing a minimum duration of 9 months course (like- Undergraduate, Postgraduate Level)
- 3 Years PSW is applicable after completing PhD level courses.
Admission Requirement / Eligibility Criteria
International Year Zero
Successful completion of the Standard XII with average of 50% or above OR Completion of the Standard XII with an average of 45%.
International Year Zero is the first year of our 4 year International Incorporated Bachelor degree and is taught on campus at Bangor University International College and delivered by our partner Oxford International Education Group.
International Year 1 - Business, Management and Finance
A minimum of 55% in the Standard XII school certificate from recognised central or state boards
OR completion of the Polytechnic/College of Technology Diploma (3 to 4 years in duration) is required to be considered for entry onto the International Year 1.
The International Year 1 is the first year of our 3 year Bachelor Degrees in Business, Management & Finance provides an intensive combination of first year university subject modules with extra study and English language skills, and is taught on campus at Bangor University International College and delivered by our partner Oxford International Education Group.
Undergraduate/Bachelor Degree
65% in all Central and State Boards (except Punjab State Board)
85% from Punjab State Board (or equivalent in Diploma in Engineering/Technology subject)

Mature students will be considered on a case by case basis.
Entry into Year 2 will be considered on a case by case basis. Our team need to check if what you have already studied matches up with our own course content.
If you do not meet the above requirements then we will consider you for entry onto the International Year Zero.
