Graduate Diploma in Environment and Climate Emergency

In the graduate diploma you will continue to build on the knowledge and skills you gained in the graduate certificate that are necessary to effect change and respond to the global environment and climate emergency.

The course comprises three additional core units and an optional unit to suit your background and career goals.

You will be exposed to ground-breaking research and real-world practices through lectures and workshops delivered by consultants from industry and government.

You will strengthen your skills in social research, analysis and broad stakeholder engagement, and explore approaches to informing relevant policies and practices in fields such as urban adaptation and resilience to climate change, waste and water management, renewable energy, transport, climate-change policies, sustainable production and consumption, and the future of food.

You will also have access to the innovative Legacy Living Laboratory (L3) and use the L3 visualisation hub to expand your knowledge and further build capabilities to contribute to solutions to biodiversity loss, extreme climatic events and other issues affecting communities globally.

The graduate diploma will provide you with a strong basis to meet professional practice and development challenges. Upon successful completion of the course you may enrol in the master degree.

This course caters for both full-time and part-time students.
