What you will study

You will learn how to analyse and implement solutions for complex issues around climate change, equality and modern slavery to create a brighter future for all. Whether you want to work for a large corporation, start your own business, or pursue a career in the non-profit sector, a major in Sustainable Business will prepare you to make a meaningful contribution to society while also achieving your professional goals.

This degree

You will undertake a foundation year that covers all core disciplines of business, giving you a solid understanding of issues facing organisations today. From your second year, you will major in Sustainable Business, where you will develop the key knowledge, skills, and competencies to succeed in this fast growing and exciting industry.

Graduates take many different directions including working as Sustainability Managers, Environmental Consultants or the raft of new job options developing in the new economy. Graduates could look at starting their own business in the climate mitigation, adaptation space, or postgraduate education.

You will also undertake a final-year capstone subject that lets you apply everything you have learned in collaboration with students from other disciplines. Plus, you have the option of applying for an internship to gain valuable experience whilst receiving credit towards your degree.
