  • Are having difficulty finding an appropriate entry point into further post-secondary education.

In addition, students participate in career planning, workplace essential skills training including life skills, literacy and numeracy skills, communication skills, customer service skills, basic technology skills, and work experience placements. Students will have the opportunity to complete various certificates, such as WHMIS, First Aid/CPR, Ontario SuperHost, Safe Food Handling, and others. Students enrolled in this program are eligible for loans and grants.

Students completing the program may enter another postsecondary program or the workplace in an entry-level position primarily in the hospitality or retail sector.

Mature students or students who are 18 years of age who have graduated from high school with workplace credits, modified courses, and/or an Ontario Secondary School Certificate or equivalent.
