Diploma of Music

The Diploma of Music provides excellent, industry-oriented education for performers, composers, music producers and technologists, music scholars and arts & entertainment managers.

It is an ideal starting point for school leavers to explore where they fit in today’s music industry, and for mature-age students to update their skills for today’s competitive standards.

Students can gain professional, industry-level skills in:

  • Performance
  • Composition
  • Creative Technology (Recording and Audio Engineering Techniques)
  • Arts Management (Engaging the Creative Mind and Commerce)?
  • Acting

In just 12 months, you will build your musical literacy and academic skills and walk away with an industry-recognised qualification. You also have the option to transition into any of our Bachelor of Music programs after your Diploma studies.

EXPLORE DIFFERENT AREAS OF MUSIC

All Diploma modules are designed to be flexible. You will have numerous opportunities to develop your existing skills, explore areas that may be new and inspiring, and gain an extensive understanding of the arts and entertainment field.

PATHWAY INTO BACHELOR OF MUSIC

The Diploma of Music is a stand-alone tertiary qualification and a direct pathway to the Bachelor of Music degree. All your completed Diploma units are credited, and you can apply to continue your studies as a second-year Bachelor of Music student.
