This Bachelor of Psychological Sciences degree is accredited by the Australian Psychology Accreditation Council and the first step to becoming a psychologist. You’ll study the scope of psychological science and complete a variety of research projects to develop your project management, research and report writing skill set.
Combine with a Bachelor of Arts to widen your knowledge of what drives social change in contemporary society. In this degree, in the Psychology Project (PSY30003), you'll have the opportunity to explore a student-led project with an industry collaboration. In your second year, in the Skills and Strategies for Social Change core arts unit, collaborate with fellow students and community, civil society and industry partners to create real campaigns for real social change.

PSW Opportunity
Post Study Work Steam Renames to Post Higher Education Work Steam.
- Bachelor degree holders including honours can get upto 2 years of post study stay
- Master by course work and extended (with a duration exceeding 2 years) can stay upto 2 years
- Masters by research (with a duration exceeding 2 years) and PhD holder can stay upto 3 years
- The Maximum eligible age to apply for PSW will be reduced to 35 years of age from 50 years of age for all applicants
Due to the Australian Indian Economic Cooperation and Trade Agreement signed by the 2 countries, according to which:
- Indian students completing bachelor degree including honours can stay upto 2 years
- Bachelor degree with First class honours in STEM including ICT can stay upto 3 years
- Masters by coursework in extended researched (with a duration exceeding 2 years) can stay upto 3 years
- PhD students can stay upto 4 years
Admission Requirement / Eligibility Criteria
- Completion of Australian Year 12 or equivalent.
- You need a minimum of 65% in Year XII (only the main subjects plus English will be considered).
- Punjab and Haryana State Board Students need a minimum of 85% in class 12 to qualify in any course.
