Diploma of Science (3 sessions)
The Diploma of Science Standard Session can get you guaranteed* entry into the second year of a Bachelor of Science or first year of a Bachelor of Science Education at the University of Wollongong (UOW).
The course is designed for international students, studying in Australia.
What is the science behind life? What makes up the world’s diverse species and ecosystems? How do we protect and manage the earth’s wildlife and environment?
In the Diploma of Science you will address these fundamental questions and gain the skills to be better prepared to succeed at your UOW bachelor. The course is designed to empower you to apply scientific thinking and analysis to important issues impacting the world today. You’ll explore various concepts and skills in mathematics and a variety of fundamental science disciplines and graduate with a Higher Education Diploma to help get you into the workforce while completing your bachelor's degree.
We offer two intakes a year, allowing you the flexibility to choose when you commence. The duration of this course is 12 months full-time, or part-time equivalent. See the course outline for more information.
