As a graduate with skills in Computing Science, you will have many careers opportunities available to you in a wide range of commercial and industrial organisations developing new software, as data scientist/analyst, project managers, systems analysts in planning and technical management, or information management and database environments. You may also work in marketing and sales or as a consultant.

Average salaries are often higher than those of other graduates and there are also opportunities for postgraduate study in computing, software development, artificial intelligence, IoT or a related area.

• 2 Years PSW is applicable after completing a minimum duration of 9 months course (like- Undergraduate, Postgraduate Level)
• 3 Years PSW is applicable after completing PhD level courses.

Each programme will have slightly different requirements, both in terms of overall points and certain subjects, so please check the relevant subject in the undergraduate on-line prospectus.

Normally Ulster University welcomes applications from students with:

All Indian Standard XII (Central Boards or a State Board) with an overall average of 60% to include 50% or above in 5 subjects Where a course has subject-specific requirements 60% will be required in each of these subjects.

OR

3 year Diploma in an engineering or technology subject from a State Board of Technical Education with overall 60% (Accredited by ACITE)

Usually the minimum English language entry requirement is IELTS (academic) of 6.0 (with no band score of less than 5.5).

Some of our courses ask for a higher score.

If you do not meet the English language requirement we will give you a conditional offer subject to you meeting the requirement before the commencement of the course.
