Product Design - Master of Arts
Managing creatives and the creative process in collaboration with other functional teams requires a broad skillset, including technical know-how and leadership characteristics.
Established techniques of leadership and management will be taught alongside access to the Faculty’s wide range of creative activities. Creative practitioners are increasingly being regarded as multi-disciplinary within the design industry. The course focuses on challenges and creative culture, as well as a deeper understanding of design processes, evaluation and expectations.
This course will involve a mix of creative design, management and leadership processes to equip you with the skills and expertise to lead effective creative design of commercial value within industrial, retail or service sectors. It is structured around the three themes of communication, collaboration and creativity.

PSW Opportunity
- The International Students studying in certain institutions in Singapore are allowed to work part time for 16 hours per week as mentioned on the Ministry of Manpower website of Singapore.
- Students who have studied in the institutions mentioned on the Ministry of Manpower website of Singapore are allowed to apply for a Long Term Visitor Pass.
- They are allowed to look for a job during this time period.This is for 12 months.If the students get a job during this time period, the employer may sponsor for an Employment pass.
Admission Requirement / Eligibility Criteria
Master of Arts - Admission Assessment.
1. Acceptance of a Master Degree application is based on assessment of applicant's qualification and portfolios (if and when required).
2. Assessment will take approximately 3-4 weeks to process.
3. On case by case basis, applicants who are not eligible and cannot gain direct entry into the 1 year Master Degree course, would be recommended for admissions into either; • 1 year Bachelor Degree (Top Up). • Or Bridging Courses + 1 year Bachelor Degree (Top Up).
Entry Requirements for 1 year Master of Arts
1. IELTS 6.5 (with a minimum score of 5.5 across all skills) - Test result is only valid within 2 years from the date the results are issued
2. Portfolios in relevant/ design related works.
3. Honours Degree 2.2 (or its international equivalent) for Lower Second Class Honours in relevant/ design related discipline.
4. Minimum Age: 20 years old.
5. Resume (if any).
6. Work Experience (if any) in relevant/ design related industry. Company Reference Letter (if any) - to declare that the applicant has been working in xxx company from mm/yr to mm/yr (also to state job title/ position and work responsibilities in the company). 7. Testimonials and Achievements (if any). 8. For Design Management: Graduates with Bachelor Degree in Creative Subject/ Design Studies, Management, Business or related subject area are eligible for admission.
