PSW Opportunity
- The International Students studying in certain institutions in Singapore are allowed to work part time for 16 hours per week as mentioned on the Ministry of Manpower website of Singapore.
- Students who have studied in the institutions mentioned on the Ministry of Manpower website of Singapore are allowed to apply for a Long Term Visitor Pass.
- They are allowed to look for a job during this time period.This is for 12 months.If the students get a job during this time period, the employer may sponsor for an Employment pass.
Admission Requirement / Eligibility Criteria
Academic Requirement:
Obtained at least 2 GCE A-Level passes, including Mathematics and *English; OR
Obtained International Baccalaureate Diploma (at least 24 points) or other equivalent pre-university certifications; OR
Completion of GSTM Diploma (Specialized in Computing and Information Technology) or equivalent; OR
NUS High School Diploma; OR
Polytechnic Diploma (e.g. Diploma in Business Information System/ Information Technology/ Computing related field); OR
Other PEI qualifications (e.g. Diploma in Business Information System/ Information Technology/ Computing related field that is equivalent to GSTM’s Diploma) will be assessed on a case-by-case basis; OR
Matured student: At least 30 years old with at least 8 years of relevant working experience will be considered.
English Language Requirement:
*A pass in English at GCE' O' Level or Equivalent; OR
IELTS 5.5 and or equivalent; OR
Completed a prior Diploma or equivalent where the medium of instruction is English
