The Master of Information Technology (MIT) is a level 9 programme that requires successful completion of a minimum of 180 credits from level 8 and 9.
There are two pathways for completing a Master of Information Technology. Both pathways require the completion of a significant research project.

PSW Opportunity
- During study, all students on a student visa can work up to 20 hours per week during semester and full time during vacations.
- After completing Level 7 Bachelor’s Degree or Higher Qualification, a student will get a three years open post-study work visa.
- After completing Level 8 Post Graduate courses of 1 year, students get 1 year PSW.
Admission Requirement / Eligibility Criteria
To be accepted into a postgraduate level or graduate diploma programme, you need a Bachelor’s degree in the same or related field or equivalent work/professional experience.
You may also need to have a minimum grade average in the undergraduate degree. Check the programme webpage for specific details on what is needed to enrol in your chosen programme.
International students: In addition to the above must have IELTS 6.5 (with no band below 6.0), or equivalent.
