Diploma of Engineering Fast Track
The Diploma of Engineering Fast Track provides guaranteed* entry into the second year of a Bachelor of Engineering (Honours) at the University of Wollongong (UOW).
You will gain the skills to succeed in your UOW bachelor and cover core first-year engineering subjects, blending theoretical and practical components for hands-on experience in fundamental engineering areas and explore various engineering disciplines, including maths and physics. You will also graduate with a Higher Education Diploma to help get you into the workforce while completing your bachelor's degree.

PSW Opportunity
Students can get 2 years PSW visa if they complete the studies from Sydney Camus and 3 years PSW visa if the course is completed from Wollongong Campus.
Admission Requirement / Eligibility Criteria
- Minimum ATAR 60 (or equivalent). Assumed Knowledge and Recommended Study minimum 50% for Year 12 HSC Advanced Mathematics and 50% Year 12 HSC Physics, PLUS Overall IELTS Academic score of 6.0 with 5.5 in Reading and Writing or equivalent.
