For Students:

• Internships: The university's Career Center offers numerous internship opportunities, including roles in areas like statistics, data, marketing, and communications. 
• Student Employment: Students can find part-time and full-time jobs on campus through the university's Workday system. 
• Off-Campus Opportunities: Handshake also connects students and alumni with off-campus employers.

Post-Study Work visa or permit, allowing international students on F-1 visas to work in the US after completing their studies, typically through Optional Practical Training (OPT).

Eligibility:
To be eligible for OPT, students must have been enrolled full-time in a US educational institution for at least one academic year and be seeking work related to their major.

Duration:
Students can apply for up to 12 months of OPT, either before they finish their studies (pre-completion) or after graduation (post-completion).

STEM OPT:
Students in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics) fields can apply for an extended OPT period of up to 24 months.

Grand Valley hosts more than 300 international students from more than 70 countries. Students will find a safe and welcoming environment with many on-campus activities. To be considered for admission, international applicants must submit all of the following documents to the Admissions Office by October 15 for the winter semester (January) or by May 1 for the fall semester (August):
