The Supply Chain and Operations Management, B.S., program teaches you to manage people, products, services, and processes from the point of supply through consumption.

This program will provide you with a deep understanding of sourcing, logistics, and operations management principles and how these areas integrate with other business functions. The program emphasizes hands-on experiences such as simulations, mentorship, guest speakers, case competitions, and applied client projects.

There is not a company in the world that doesn’t require their supply chain and operations to successfully execute their strategy and deliver on their promises to their customers, whether it produces products, provides services, or both.

Supply chain and operations management involves managing people, products, services, and processes involved from the point of supply through the point of consumption—including operations, logistics, inventory management, demand and supply coordination, strategic sourcing, quality management and control, and more.

Job Opportunity Potential

The Supply Chain and Operations Management major has a wealth of potential careers upon graduation. Recent graduates are actively involved in one or more of the following areas: consulting, product design and development, contract development, forecasting, production planning, inventory analysis, quality management, strategic sourcing and supplier management, supply chain sustainability analysis, logistics and transportation planning or analysis, and supply chain risk assessment.

PSW Opportunity

Post-Study Work visa or permit, allowing international students on F-1 visas to work in the US after completing their studies, typically through Optional Practical Training (OPT).

Eligibility:
To be eligible for OPT, students must have been enrolled full-time in a US educational institution for at least one academic year and be seeking work related to their major.

Duration:
Students can apply for up to 12 months of OPT, either before they finish their studies (pre-completion) or after graduation (post-completion).

STEM OPT:
Students in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics) fields can apply for an extended OPT period of up to 24 months.

Admission Requirement / Eligibility Criteria

First-year students generally need a state-certified high school diploma or equivalent. They also typically need to have completed four years of English, math, natural science, and social studies in high school, along with a year of fine arts. Transfer students need a minimum GPA of 2.0 in college courses.
