Network Administration ACS
This program trains students to become Network Administration Technicians. Upon completing the program, students will understand the architecture of a network, know how to connect computers to their peripherals and each other, implement a network, apply the appropriate network protocols and connect networks to other external networks (such as the Internet). Provide support to users regarding network issues, administer, monitor, and expand the network by various means (adding stations, adding a virtual component, etc.)

If your program was less than 8 months
- You aren’t eligible for a PGWP.
If your program was more than 8 months but less than 2 years
- We may give you a PGWP that’s valid for up to the same length as your study program.
For example, if you completed a 9-month program, we may give you a work permit for up to 9 months.
If your program was 2 years or more
- We may give you a PGWP that’s valid for 3 years.
If you completed more than 1 program
- You may be able to get a PGWP that combines the length of each program.
Each of the programs you completed -
- must be PGWP-eligible and at least 8 months in length
Admission Requirement / Eligibility Criteria
Prerequisites
- Quebec Secondary V or equivalent
- English language requirements: Ielts 5.0 (nothing less than 5.0 in any individual module) or equivalent accepted test (duolingo, Matrix, Language Canada accredited members, TOEFL etc…)
- Exemption: Students having a High School Diploma from native English speaking countries (example: Nigeria, Philippines)
- French language requirements: A1 to B2 French program (4 levels) is mandatory for those students who wish to pursue AEC in English;
- Exemptions from French program registration: Students are exempt from Matrix College’s French language program, if they produce a proof of B2 level third party test / Matrix’s online placement test or have a High School Diploma in French from French speaking countries or have a B2 level certificate from Languages Canada accredited members.
