LLM Professional Practice (SQE)
The LLM Professional Practice with a Solicitors Qualification Examination (SQE) pathway offers you the opportunity to prepare for SQE1, obtain an introduction to SQE2 legal skills and acquire some Qualifying Work Experience (QWE). In the process, you will gain an internationally recognised LLM qualification.
We are currently the only SQE preparation course that covers the FLK1 subjects, FLK2 subjects, an introduction to SQE2 and some QWE for both law and non-law graduate students.
You will develop an in-depth understanding of the relevant Functioning Legal Knowledge (FLK) required for SQE1, as follows:
FLK1: Business Law and Practice; Dispute Resolution; Contract; Tort; Legal System of England and Wales; Constitutional and Administrative Law and EU Law and Legal Services.
FLK2: Property Practice; Wills and the Administration of Estates; Solicitors Accounts; Land Law; Trusts; Criminal Law and Practice.
Contract, Tort, Legal System of England and Wales, Constitutional and Administrative Law and EU Law, Land Law, Trusts and Criminal Law are all taught as part of the Foundations of Legal Knowledge module. The remainder are taught within distinct modules dedicated to those subject areas.
You will have the option to be introduced to, learn about and develop your SQE2 legal skills such as client interviewing, legal research, writing, drafting and advocacy skills.

PSW Opportunity
- 2 Years PSW is applicable after completing a minimum duration of 9 months course (like- Undergraduate, Postgraduate Level)
- 3 Years PSW is applicable after completing PhD level courses.

India
Academic Qualifications
- 3 Year degree (B.COM, BBA, B.SC, BCA, etc) at 60% (or CGPA of 6.0/10) and above in the final year from a recognized Indian university for entry to a relevant postgraduate program.
- 4 or 5 Year degrees (B.E, BTECH, B PHARM, B. ARCH, etc) at 55% % (or CGPA of 5.8/10) in the final year from a recognized Indian university for entry to a relevant postgraduate program.
- 50% (or CGPA 5.5/10) minimum from the following Indian universities: the University of Mumbai, University of Delhi, University of Pune, Jadavpur University or University of Calcutta
Nepal
Academic Qualifications
- A first division Bachelor's degree from a recognized university (65% or above/CGPA 2.6/4.0).
- Applicants with a Masters's degree will be considered for entry to Ph.D. studies.
Sri Lanka
Academic Qualifications
- Bachelor Special degree will be considered for masters or graduate diploma level study.
- Bachelor General degree with very high grades may be considered
- MBA applicants should have one of the above qualifications plus at least 2 years of post-graduation work experience.
