Bachelor of Arts - Philosophy (Major)

Why choose a bachelor's degree in Arts?

With a bachelor's degree in Arts, you will become an expert in reimagining solutions to real-world problems that professional policy makers, researchers, communicators, and artists grapple with daily. In this program, you will learn new ways to process information, express your ideas, and analyze issues to affect positive change in your local community and on a global scale.

Choose from 26 majors and over 60 minors in arts, humanities, science or business and shape your future on your terms.
Select a variety of in-person and online courses when you enroll in this 4-year degree program. You can also add on one or more certificates in Business, Communication or Public Policy and Administration to gain a competitive edge.

Why Philosophy?

Studying Philosophy is like exploring the ultimate questions of life with a magnifying glass. It’s all about diving into big ideas – like ethics, existence, knowledge, and truth – to understand how humans think and make choices. Philosophy challenges you to think critically and argue logically, skills that are super handy in any career or life situation.

Imagine discussing ancient philosophers one day and debating modern ethical dilemmas the next. It’s a mind workout that sharpens your ability to analyze complex issues and express your thoughts clearly. Plus, philosophy teaches empathy and understanding by exploring different perspectives and cultures throughout history.
