If your program was less than 8 months

  •    You aren’t eligible for a PGWP.

If your program was more than 8 months but less than 2 years

  •    We may give you a PGWP that’s valid for up to the same length as your study program.

For example, if you completed a 9-month program, we may give you a work permit for up to 9 months.

If your program was 2 years or more

  •    We may give you a PGWP that’s valid for 3 years.

If you completed more than 1 program

  •    You may be able to get a PGWP that combines the length of each program.

Each of the programs you completed -

  • must be PGWP-eligible and at least 8 months in length

Admission Requirement / Eligibility Criteria

Applying from outside of Canada:

  • High school transcripts and other required documentation to be uploaded to your Admission Portal for admission consideration.
  • The possession of minimum entry requirements does not guarantee admission; we may require additional documentation or verification.
  • An “official” transcript or exam result must be sent directly by your high school, examination board, an electronically verifiable source, via Parchment or wes.org only if you are admitted or upon request.

International Baccalaureate (IB) Admission consideration begins with and includes:

  • A marksheet with predicted IB grades reflecting the intention to complete the full IB Diploma with 6 subjects: 3 HL and 3 SL (including prerequisites) with a minimum score of 28 including bonus points from TOK and EE, however most programs will require a higher score. ? Predicted grades on a 7-point scale.

FOR INDIA

Indian Curriculum
Admission consideration begins with and includes: 

  • Verified 10th standard board results accompanied by anticipated Class 12 grades listed by subject from the school with a minimum of 80%.
  • Completion of Class 12 Board Exam Certificates with strong First Division standing is required in May/June.
  • All information required by your school board to verify your Class 10 and 12 certificates.

FOR SRI LANKA

  • Sri Lankan Certificate of Education including Ordinary Levels and at least 3 Advanced Level subjects with a minimum B average. (See also British Patterned Education (GCE). 

FOR BANGLADESH

  • Higher Secondary Certificate (HSC) with first division pass (60-100). See also IB and GCE.
