Gain real-world technical skills in budgeting and cost planning for construction projects in this hands-on learning programme. Domestic students will study at our Manukau campus and international students at our Auckland Central campus. This project-based programme is run in four blocks of study over two years. Each block lasts nine weeks. You need to dedicate about 35 hours per week to the programme.

PSW Opportunity
- During study, all students on a student visa can work up to 20 hours per week during semester and full time during vacations.
- After completing Level 7 Bachelor’s Degree or Higher Qualification, a student will get a three years open post-study work visa.
- After completing Level 8 Post Graduate courses of 1 year, students get 1 year PSW.
Admission Requirement / Eligibility Criteria
If you are under 20, you must have:
NCEA Level 3
14 credits at Level 3 in each of three NZQA approved university entrance subjects, and
10 Literacy credits at Level 2 or above, made up of:
5 credits in reading and 5 credits in writing, and
10 Numeracy credits at Level 1 or above, made up of:

Equivalent entry requirements for certificates and diplomas
At least 55% average across 4 academic subjects in CBSE, HSC or ISC with at least 60% in English, or equivalent in other boards
NCEA Level 3
Equivalent entry requirements for bachelors' degrees and selected diplomas
At least a 70% average over 4 academic subjects in CBSE, HSC, or ISC with at least 60% in English, or equivalent in other boards.
New Zealand University Entrance OR
Overall Academic IELTS 6.0 with no individual band score lower than 5.5 (achieved in one test completed in the last two years)
