You will have access to diverse opportunities for professional advancement through seminars, workshops, and networking with healthcare professionals.
Customize your learning experience by choosing from a related minor, including psychology, global health, public health, and intercultural engagement.
The Music Therapy Student Association connects you with the national music therapy community, including professional organizations such as the American Music Therapy Association and the Mid-Atlantic Region of the American Music Therapy Association.
For over 40 years, our graduates have been active and ambitious professionals, serving patients across the country, assuming a variety of leadership positions, and presenting at regional and national professional conferences.
Students are active as musicians, performing in ensembles and taking private lessons from our GRAMMY Award-winning performance faculty, and leading community-engaged service and music-making activities.

PSW Opportunity
Post-Study Work visa or permit, allowing international students on F-1 visas to work in the US after completing their studies, typically through Optional Practical Training (OPT).
Eligibility:
To be eligible for OPT, students must have been enrolled full-time in a US educational institution for at least one academic year and be seeking work related to their major.
Duration:
Students can apply for up to 12 months of OPT, either before they finish their studies (pre-completion) or after graduation (post-completion).
STEM OPT:
Students in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics) fields can apply for an extended OPT period of up to 24 months.

Admission Requirement / Eligibility Criteria
India
You are required to send all of your university transcripts (grade reports) with your application. Each program evaluates your university performance differently, but most will require that you submit a GRE or GMAT score and a TOEFL score in some cases.
Students with the following minimum scores will begin full-time academic study upon arrival:

Duolingo English Test 105 (only accepted for some academic programs)
PTE Academic 48 (only accepted for some academic programs)
A score of 540 or higher on the SAT Evidence-Based Reading and Writing section (only accepted for some academic programs)
