PSW Opportunity

Post Study Work Steam Renames to Post Higher Education Work Steam.

Bachelor degree holders including honours can get upto 2 years of post study stay
Master by course work and extended (with a duration exceeding 2 years) can stay upto 2 years
Masters by research (with a duration exceeding 2 years) and PhD holder can stay upto 3 years
The Maximum eligible age to apply for PSW will be reduced to 35 years of age from 50 years of age for all applicants

Due to the Australian Indian Economic Cooperation and Trade Agreement signed by the 2 countries, according to which:

Indian students completing bachelor degree including honours can stay upto 2 years
Bachelor degree with First class honours in STEM including ICT can stay upto 3 years
Masters by coursework in extended researched (with a duration exceeding 2 years) can stay upto 3 years
PhD students can stay upto 4 years.

Admission Requirement / Eligibility Criteria

FOR INDIA

60% pass in India Senior School Certificate OR Indian School Certificate OR Higher Secondary School Certificate

FOR BANGLADESH

Higher Secondary Certificate, Intermediate Certificate

FOR NEPAL

Nepalese Higher Secondary Certificate (HSC) OR Proficiency Certificate (60% pass)

FOR SRI LANKA

Sri Lankan General Certificate of Education Advanced level (60% pass).
AND apart from this
Attend an interview in person or online.
You must be at least 18 years of age on commencement of studies.
Animation, Games and Design applicants are required to prepare a portfolio of sample work/drawings.
Acting applicants must undertake an audition.

ALTERNATIVE ADMISSION
Applicants who have not completed senior high school may be considered for entry to a Diploma, upon successful completion of which articulation into a Bachelor Degree program is guaranteed. There are three alternative admission streams:
1. JMC Academy Certificate III in Screen and Media
2. Foundation Studies pathway
3. Mature age entry
Applicants will be considered on a case by case basis.
