Mechatronics Engineering, BSc

The objective of the program is to train mechatronics engineers who have the competence to combine engineering with electronics, electrotechnics, and computer control in a synergetic way. Students will able to complete routine design, operation, and maintenance of mechatronic equipment and processes, to introduce and apply mechatronic technologies, to organize energy-efficient and environmental process and production management, and to complete average tasks in engineering development and design considering the needs of the international labour market.

Mechatronics engineering has a wide range of application in the business and industrial sectors. Graduates of mechatronics engineering can work in the fields of robotics, nanotechnology, automation, aircraft engineering,oceanography, oil and gas industry, biomedical systems, transport, and computer-aided design.

Admission Requirement / Eligibility Criteria

  • high school certificate; entrance examination in mathematics and physics (written and oral).
  • Certificate or proof of citizenship and/or permanent residence (e.g. passport).
  • Short Resume/CV (personal details, educational background, work experience, language skills, additional skills).
  • Medical Certificate.
  • In the case of Applicants applying to any of the Non-Medical Programs, whose  first language is not English, proof of English language proficiency; having an IELTS/TOEFL language certificate is not a compulsory requirement. The applicant can prove his/her English proficiency in other ways, such as by other language certificates, good GED, SAT, ACT results. If the language of instruction during your studies for your previous degree was English, you may upload an official certificate about this fact, issued by your school/university; in this case no language exam is required. We can also conduct an online interview during your application to assess your English communication skills.
  • In case of non-medical applicants to foundation or undergraduate programs, the study gap cannot be longer than 4 years. In case of applicants holding the Bangladeshi or Pakistani nationality the study gap cannot be longer than 2 years.
  • In case of medical applicants to foundation, undergraduate and one-tier graduate programs, the study gap cannot be longer than 6 years.
