Our Master of Biotechnology Management helps you build a unique skillset for the future by combining biotechnology and business management expertise. Work in state-of-the-art facilities, then graduate with the skills and experience to launch your global career.
In your first year, you'll learn the fundamentals of management and marketing, exploring real-life examples in a diverse range of organisational contexts. From there, you'll explore the area of bio-business management and discover how to produce and market a virtual product. You'll be taught by leading industry experts as you examine areas such as molecular modelling software, proteomics and genomics. Gain theoretical knowledge in a range of advanced scientific technologies, including CRISPR-mediated gene editing, next generation sequencing and mass spectrometry. You'll also harness bioinformatics software programs to address biological problems.

- Bachelor degree holders including honours can get upto 2 years of post study stay
- Master by course work and extended (with a duration exceeding 2 years) can stay upto 2 years
- Masters by research (with a duration exceeding 2 years) and PhD holder can stay upto 3 years
- The Maximum eligible age to apply for PSW will be reduced to 35 years of age from 50 years of age for all applicants
Due to the Australian Indian Economic Cooperation and Trade Agreement signed by the 2 countries, according to which:
- Indian students completing bachelor degree including honours can stay upto 2 years
- Bachelor degree with First class honours in STEM including ICT can stay upto 3 years
- Masters by coursework in extended researched (with a duration exceeding 2 years) can stay upto 3 years
- PhD students can stay upto 4 years
Admission Requirement / Eligibility Criteria
- WAM - Weighted Average Mark (WAM) 60%
- Applicants must have an Australian Bachelor's degree (or international equivalent).
- Specialisation - compulsory: Science, Bioscience, Biotechnology, Pharmacy or a related field.
