Data Science Analytics, GCP
The graduate certificate in Data Science and Analytics is designed to serve the advanced educational needs of bachelor’s-prepared professionals who require modern skills for manipulation and organization of their industry data. The advanced certificate program consists of 12 graduate credit hours and is designed to equip graduates with essential data analytics skills and competencies to be effective and competitive in today’s data-driven work environments.
Data science and analytics (DSA) is a fast-growing area leading to excellent job opportunities in a variety of fields, including business, industry, health, government, and education. This interdisciplinary certificate offers recent college graduates and industry professionals the opportunity to build skills as data analysts, without the commitment of pursuing a Master’s degree. However, the graduate certificate program in DSA may be applied toward a master’s degree in Multidisciplinary Studies - Data Science and Analytics Track or towards a master's degree in Data Science and Analytics at SUNY Buffalo State.

PSW Opportunity
Post-Study Work visa or permit, allowing international students on F-1 visas to work in the US after completing their studies, typically through Optional Practical Training (OPT).
Eligibility:
To be eligible for OPT, students must have been enrolled full-time in a US educational institution for at least one academic year and be seeking work related to their major.
Duration:
Students can apply for up to 12 months of OPT, either before they finish their studies (pre-completion) or after graduation (post-completion).
STEM OPT:
Students in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics) fields can apply for an extended OPT period of up to 24 months.

Admission Requirement / Eligibility Criteria
A minimum cumulative grade point average of 2.5 (on a 4.0 scale) in the baccalaureate program or a 3.0 in previous graduate coursework.
Applicants for whom English is a second language must submit a score of the Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL), the International English Language Testing System (IELTS), or Duolingo English Test as documentation of English language proficiency.
Applicants with a minimum TOEFL score of 550 or higher on the paper exam or 79 on the Internet exam, an IELTS score of 6.0 or higher, or a Duolingo score of 100 or higher may be considered for admission.
