Campus Information

Magill

Magill Campus is tucked in the picturesque eastern suburbs of Adelaide, just seven kilometres from the city centre. Getting to the campus is easy using local bus routes, and there is plenty of affordable on-campus car parking if you’re driving.

Mawson Lakes

Adelaide University’s Mawson Lakes Campus is set alongside 114 hectares of wetlands within the world-class Mawson Lakes residential development. Just 12 kilometres and approximately 20 minutes' drive from the city centre, the campus is next to Technology Park, which is home to several global space, technology, and defence companies, many of which have partnered with the University.

Mount Gambier

Adelaide University’s Mount Gambier Campus is set in the scenic Limestone Coast region approximately 430km from Adelaide and around five hours drive from either Adelaide or Melbourne. The campus offers contemporary learning facilities within the South Australia’s largest regional city and provides all the conveniences of city living in a relaxed regional environment.

Whyalla

Adelaide University’s picturesque Whyalla Campus is set in the coastal Eyre Peninsula region, approximately 380kms from Adelaide and just over four-hours’ drive. The 22-hectare site makes Whyalla Campus the largest regional university campus in South Australia. The on-campus residential village provides private, modern student accommodation so you’ll never be far from your next class.

In Australia, primary education is governed at a state level. Registered primary school teachers are eligible to work with students from Reception to Year 6, delivering lessons across seven key areas of the Australian national education curriculum.

PSW Opportunity

Post Study Work Steam Renames to Post Higher Education Work Steam.

  • Bachelor degree holders including honours can get upto 2 years of post study stay
  • Master by course work and extended (with a duration exceeding 2 years) can stay upto 2 years
  • Masters by research (with a duration exceeding 2 years) and PhD holder can stay upto 3 years
  • The Maximum eligible age to apply for PSW will be reduced to 35 years of age from 50 years of age for all applicants

Due to the Australian Indian Economic Cooperation and Trade Agreement signed by the 2 countries, according to which:

  • Indian students completing bachelor degree including honours can stay upto 2 years
  • Bachelor degree with First class honours in STEM including ICT can stay upto 3 years
  • Masters by coursework in extended researched (with a duration exceeding 2 years) can stay upto 3 years
  • PhD students can stay upto 4 years

Admission Requirement / Eligibility Criteria

Secondary education (Year 12)

  • Completion of a secondary education qualification equivalent to the South Australian Certificate of Education (SACE).

Vocational Education and Training (VET)

  • Completion of an award from a registered training organisation (RTO) at Certificate IV (AQF level 4) or higher.

Higher education study

  • Successful completion of at least 6 months full-time study (or equivalent part-time) in a higher education award program.
