BA in Child Learning & Development
One of the most versatile degrees offered at Concordia, the BA in Child Learning & Development degree leans into a wide range of practices to ensure career readiness in any field related to adolescent development.
The core of the program centers on the fundamental processes of child and adolescent development within the contexts of families, schools, peer groups, and larger cultural contexts. Throughout your studies, you’ll gain a complete understanding of the methodology that will propel you to successful career opportunities that advance childhood education advocacy.
After completing the program, you’ll be prepared to transform your personal, professional, and community environments in ways that fulfill tenets of the Christian faith, advance servant leadership, and address human needs. Many of our graduates find work as behavior analysts, social workers, family therapists, child psychologists, and more. While this degree opens many career pathways, it does not lead to a Minnesota teaching license.

- The university is undergoing realignment of its academic programs (e.g. reorganizing colleges) to strengthen growth, especially in fields like Business & Technology, Health & Science, Nursing etc.

PSW Opportunity
Post-Study Work visa or permit, allowing international students on F-1 visas to work in the US after completing their studies, typically through Optional Practical Training (OPT).
Eligibility:
To be eligible for OPT, students must have been enrolled full-time in a US educational institution for at least one academic year and be seeking work related to their major.
Duration:
Students can apply for up to 12 months of OPT, either before they finish their studies (pre-completion) or after graduation (post-completion).
STEM OPT:
Students in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics) fields can apply for an extended OPT period of up to 24 months.

Admission Requirement / Eligibility Criteria
Concordia has a test-optional admissions policy, and thus, applicants are not required to submit ACT or SAT scores as part of the admissions process.
Applicants are still welcome to send official scores (writing test not required) to CSP, but they will not be required for admission.
