Job Opportunity Potential
Once you graduate and successfully complete the GMC Medical Licensing Assessment (MLA) (a requirement for all students graduating from UK universities 2024/25 onwards), you will meet core requirements of a junior doctor and can apply for provisional registration with the GMC*. You will be eligible to apply for the UK NHS Foundation Programme. This two-year foundation programme provides paid training to new graduates to further develop your skills and clinical and professional competencies. Upon completion of the foundation programme, doctors can then apply for specialist training in more than 60 different areas. To enter onto this programme, you will need to have the right to work in the UK. You will also complete a competitive process with other UK graduates. Places on this programme are not guaranteed for every UK graduate. If you decide to work elsewhere in the world, we will work with you to make sure you understand that route’s requirements.
PSW Opportunity
- 2 Years PSW is applicable after completing a minimum duration of 9 months course (like- Undergraduate, Postgraduate Level)
- 3 Years PSW is applicable after completing PhD level courses.
Admission Requirement / Eligibility Criteria
FOR INDIA
All applications will be considered however, we do highly recommend the following qualifications to strengthen your application:
- Applicants who have completed the Standard XII or All India Senior School Certificate (ISC) or Higher Secondary School Certificate (HSSC) with final grade 70% will normally be considered for undergraduate entry.
FOR NEPAL
All applications will be considered however, we do highly recommend the following qualifications to strengthen your application:
- Applicants who have completed the School Leaving Certificate Examination (Grade XI & XII) with a minimum final grade of 55% or GPA 2.4 or C+ will normally be considered for undergraduate entry.
FOR BANGLADESH
All applications will be considered however, we do highly recommend the following qualifications to strengthen your application:
- Applicants who have completed the Higher School Certificate (HSC) with a minimum final GPA of 4.0 or 75% will normally be considered for undergraduate entry.
- Applicants who have completed the Secondary School Certificate (SSC) will also need to complete an International Foundation Programme, IB or A Levels to be considered for undergraduate entry.
FOR SRI LANKA
All applications will be considered however, we do highly recommend the following qualifications to strengthen your application:
- Applicants who have completed the Sri Lankan General Certificate of Education (Advanced Level) will normally be considered for undergraduate entry.
