You’ll learn the theoretical fundamentals of public health and apply this to the different domains of public health practice.
Our research-led course will deliver the essential knowledge you’ll need in epidemiology, applied health research methods and biostatistics, which underpins decision-making at all levels of practice. You may then choose optional modules that fit with your personal interests and future career plans. These cover the full breadth of public health practice, including health improvement and health promotion, health protection, population healthcare and health service management and decision making, with teaching from both academics and those active in service roles.
