Our Foundation Certificate in Engineering and Technology provides a solid introduction to the core areas of engineering and technology. Covering key topics such as cybersecurity, 3D printing technology, and drafting & design using AutoCAD, this course is designed to build your knowledge and develop practical skills in high-demand specialisations.
You can choose to sit for the International General Certificate of Secondary Education (IGCSE) external examinations at PSB Academy as part of this course. The IGCSE qualification (equivalent to O-Level qualifications, grade for grade) can be used as an entry requirement to progress to the Certificate level, followed by an Engineering or IT degree, and eventually, a Bachelor’s Degree.?*

PSW Opportunity
- The International Students studying in certain institutions in Singapore are allowed to work part time for 16 hours per week as mentioned on the Ministry of Manpower website of Singapore.
- Students who have studied in the institutions mentioned on the Ministry of Manpower website of Singapore are allowed to apply for a Long Term Visitor Pass.
- They are allowed to look for a job during this time period.This is for 12 months.If the students get a job during this time period, the employer may sponsor for an Employment pass.
Admission Requirement / Eligibility Criteria
Academic Requirements:
- 2 GCE 'N' level (grade A-D or grade 1-5) or equivalent; OR
- NITEC; OR
- Mature candidates (≥30 years old with 8 years’ work experience); OR
- Candidates with other qualifications will be considered as case-by-case basis
Minimum Age Requirement : 15 years old
English Language Requirement:
- GCE ‘N’ level English (grade A-D); OR
- IELTS score of 5.5; OR
- PSB Academy's Certificate in English Proficiency programme; OR
- PSB Academy English Proficiency Test; OR
