Master of Sports Management
The AUE has developed a strong and comprehensive Master of Sports Management (MSM) Program providing guidance and leadership to the sports sector across the UAE and the GCC region. The program develops and enhances management, sport and business skills to effectively govern sport-related organizations. The programs prepare students to become tomorrow's leaders in delivering state-of-the-art decisions and strategic orientation in the sports industry.
The MSM program is built for advanced students to expand their skills and competencies for the dynamic world of sport. That said, the program is structured to enable students to pursue further academic and professional development. The strategic approach of the AUE is to place the MSM program as a leading program for studies on sport-related industry serving as a hub for delivering education, consulting and extensive network.
The program is focused on developing, integrating and delivering a contemporary knowledge and understanding of sport- related and business science. Students are coming from diverse backgrounds enriching the program with their know-how, experience and culture.

Admission Requirement / Eligibility Criteria
The following conditions need to be satisfied by the time of admission for any of the AUE graduate programs:
- Original copy of the Bachelor Degree Certificate, attested by the UAE Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research. Applicants holding a baccalaureate degree from outside the United Arab Emirates should submit an equivalency letter from the UAE Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research.
- Original Copy of the Academic Transcript. The minimum CGPA required for university admission is 3.00 out of 4.00.
- All Master Degree applicants who got less than 3.0 CGPA or its equivalent at their bachelor degree will be conditionally admitted to the university for one semester where they can register for not more than 9 C.H and should should achieve a CGPA of 3.0 in their first semester, otherwise they will be dismissed from the program directly.
- Students with Bachelor CGPA between 2.00 to 2.49 can be probationary admitted to the programs, and will need to take 3 remedial courses during their first semester and achieve a semester GPA of 3.00 at these remedial courses.
English Language Requirements :
The following language proficiency requirements apply to Master’s degree programs only and do not apply to Doctoral (PhD) programs.
Applicants to graduate programs taught in English should provide a valid copy of one of the following:
- TOEFL ITP: 550 or above OR
- TOEFL iBT: 79 or above OR
- IELTS Academic: 6.0 or above
The home-edition of the TOEFL and IELTS tests are not accepted; candidates should sit for the test in authorized testing centers.
Other Requirements
All applicants should:
- Sit for the Entry Interview.
- Write a one-page (250 words) personal admission statement in English.
- Submit a Valid Passport Copy.
- Submit a Valid Emirates ID.
- Submit Four Passport Sized Photographs (White Background).
- Submit a Good Conduct Certificate (From Local Police Authority).
