International Relations is a dynamic, rapidly evolving field focused on sources of conflict, cooperation and change in the international system. You'll work with Griffith's world-class academic staff in exploring topics such as diplomacy and statecraft, international security, human rights, globalisation and international organisations. - Bachelor degree holders including honours can get upto 2 years of post study stay
- Master by course work and extended (with a duration exceeding 2 years) can stay upto 2 years
- Masters by research (with a duration exceeding 2 years) and PhD holder can stay upto 3 years
- The Maximum eligible age to apply for PSW will be reduced to 35 years of age from 50 years of age for all applicants
Due to the Australian Indian Economic Cooperation and Trade Agreement signed by the 2 countries, according to which:
- Indian students completing bachelor degree including honours can stay upto 2 years
- Bachelor degree with First class honours in STEM including ICT can stay upto 3 years
- Masters by coursework in extended researched (with a duration exceeding 2 years) can stay upto 3 years
- PhD students can stay upto 4 years
Admission Requirement / Eligibility Criteria
To be eligible for admission to the Master of International Relations, a student must:
- hold a related Bachelor degree (or higher) from a recognized University (or another tertiary education institution of equivalent standing) with a minimum GPA of 4.0 (using a 7.0 scale), OR
- hold a Griffith Graduate Certificate in International Relations (or equivalent) with a minimum GPA of 4.0 (using a 7.0 scale). Students with a Griffith Graduate Certificate in International Relations will receive 40 credit points of advanced standing, OR
- have a combination of alternative admission criteria such as formal, informal, and non-formal learning deemed to be equivalent to one of the above.
