The Master of Business (Innovation and Entrepreneurship) is suitable for managers and middle managers seeking to further their career in a specialised field of business.
Learn the theoretical knowledge and tools to lead innovation and entrepreneurship in the world economy. The Innovation and Entrepreneurship specialisation provides you with knowledge in innovative leadership, financial skills for entrepreneurs, navigating the complexities of innovation and entrepreneurship, business innovation planning and creating and marketing new products.
You will learn how to create a culture conducive to innovation, understand how to raise capital, gain detailed knowledge of the complexities of initiating, developing, managing and exploiting innovation. You will explore the potential exploitation of your own business idea, evaluate opportunities from a range of perspectives including; financial, technical and legal and gain a thorough understanding of the processes associated with the development and marketing of a new product in today’s complex environment.
You also have the option of undertaking a Master of Business (Double Specialisation) that allows you to select two specialisations and complete the course over two years full-time.
If you have already completed an undergraduate degree in business or a related area, you may be eligible to receive credit for recognition of prior learning for this course.

Post Study Work Steam Renames to Post Higher Education Work Steam.
- Bachelor degree holders including honours can get upto 2 years of post study stay
- Master by course work and extended (with a duration exceeding 2 years) can stay upto 2 years
- Masters by research (with a duration exceeding 2 years) and PhD holder can stay upto 3 years
- The Maximum eligible age to apply for PSW will be reduced to 35 years of age from 50 years of age for all applicants
Due to the Australian Indian Economic Cooperation and Trade Agreement signed by the 2 countries, according to which:
- Indian students completing bachelor degree including honours can stay upto 2 years
- Bachelor degree with First class honours in STEM including ICT can stay upto 3 years
- Masters by coursework in extended researched (with a duration exceeding 2 years) can stay upto 3 years
- PhD students can stay upto 4 years
