You may be able to take some of the courses towards your degree online. Completing the TESOL does not qualify you to teach in state schools in New Zealand.

PSW Opportunity
- During study, all students on a student visa can work up to 20 hours per week during semester and full time during vacations.
- After completing Level 7 Bachelor’s Degree or Higher Qualification, a student will get a three years open post-study work visa.
- After completing Level 8 Post Graduate courses of 1 year, students get 1 year PSW.
Admission Requirement / Eligibility Criteria
You must have completed one of the following:
- A bachelors degree in any subject and at least two years of teaching experience.
- A Bachelor of Arts (Honours), or a one-year postgraduate qualification following an undergraduate degree, in a subject related to language teaching, business English or language studies, and at least one year of teaching experience.
You will need a GPA of 3.5.
The following subjects may also be considered for entry: A language other than first language, Language Teaching (any language), Linguistics, Education.
