Master of Marketing
A Master of Marketing from the University of Newcastle equips graduates with marketing knowledge and skills to plan and execute marketing strategies and tactics for organisations in the not-for-profit, government and private sectors. The program is comprehensive, contemporary and practical, developing your professional expertise in the processes and application of modern marketing.
The Master of Marketing can be studied face-to-face at the Newcastle City Precinct, online or a combination of the two. Allowing you to balance your professional and personal life and study at a time and pace that suits you.
The Master of Marketing focuses on developing greater understanding of marketing principles, consumer decision making and strategic marketing decision making. - Bachelor degree holders including honours can get upto 2 years of post study stay
- Master by course work and extended (with a duration exceeding 2 years) can stay upto 2 years
- Masters by research (with a duration exceeding 2 years) and PhD holder can stay upto 3 years
- The Maximum eligible age to apply for PSW will be reduced to 35 years of age from 50 years of age for all applicants
Due to the Australian Indian Economic Cooperation and Trade Agreement signed by the 2 countries, according to which:
- Indian students completing bachelor degree including honours can stay upto 2 years
- Bachelor degree with First class honours in STEM including ICT can stay upto 3 years
- Masters by coursework in extended researched (with a duration exceeding 2 years) can stay upto 3 years
- PhD students can stay upto 4 years
Admission Requirement / Eligibility Criteria
Postgraduate Admissions: Students are required to have a completed bachelor degree in a relevant discipline.
Gap year Admissions: Students are required to submit a completed high school transcript to be assessed on a case by case basis.
