Job Opportunity Potential
Experience over many years indicates that graduates in Business Studies possess a combination of knowledge and skills which is attractive to a wide range of potential employers. The career opportunities available include management level posts in finance, production, purchasing, personnel and marketing in industry. Previously, students have secured employment locally, nationally and globally. Each year a number of graduates also elect to proceed with postgraduate studies.
Work placement / study abroad
Students may elect to undertake a period of paid work experience or academic study abroad in the third year. Students who have successfully completed years one and two, and who do not wish to complete a work experience year, or a year of academic study abroad, may proceed directly to the final year of the degree.
PSW Opportunity
- 2 Years PSW is applicable after completing a minimum duration of 9 months course (like- Undergraduate, Postgraduate Level)
- 3 Years PSW is applicable after completing PhD level courses.
Admission Requirement / Eligibility Criteria
Each programme will have slightly different requirements, both in terms of overall points and certain subjects, so please check the relevant subject in the undergraduate on-line prospectus.
Normally Ulster University welcomes applications from students with:
All Indian Standard XII (Central Boards or a State Board) with an overall average of 60% to include 50% or above in 5 subjects Where a course has subject-specific requirements 60% will be required in each of these subjects.
OR
3 year Diploma in an engineering or technology subject from a State Board of Technical Education with overall 60% (Accredited by ACITE)
Usually the minimum English language entry requirement is IELTS (academic) of 6.0 (with no band score of less than 5.5).
Some of our courses ask for a higher score.
If you do not meet the English language requirement we will give you a conditional offer subject to you meeting the requirement before the commencement of the course.
