A degree in Economics and Politics is ideal preparation for a career in business, finance and the civil service. Since the global financial crisis of 2007/08, economics has been at the centre stage of policy analysis. Recently, the need for professionals with sound economic and political skills has become more important than ever, highlighted by the impact of the COVID-19 global pandemic

• 2 Years PSW is applicable after completing a minimum duration of 9 months course (like- Undergraduate, Postgraduate Level)
• 3 Years PSW is applicable after completing PhD level courses.

Entry criteria

• A typical offer is 104 UCAS points. You need to study at least two subjects at A Level or equivalent (eg BTEC)
• Five GCSEs at grades A–C including English Language and Maths
• Pass Access with 30 Level 3 credits at Merit (or equivalent)
• English (Language or Literature) and Maths GCSE required as separate qualifications at grade C
• We will normally require students to have had a break from full-time education before undertaking the Access course
• International Baccalaureate: 24+ Points

India

• Minimum of 65% average in your four best subjects (excluding Hindi) in Standard 12. We may also check your standard 10 results in English and Maths.
• For Engineering courses, you will need a minimum of 60% in Maths. 

2nd year - 3rd-year Undergraduate:

• Entry to year 2 or 3 may be possible. You will need to supply detailed information including courses taken, grades achieved, syllabus, and a grading guide.

Sri Lanka

• 55-65% in three A-levels, depending on the course you choose.

Bangladesh

• A-levels or a recognized Foundation Course
• GPA 5.0 out of 5.0 including 4.0 in English and Maths
