Pharmaceutical Science with Regulatory Affairs BSc (Hons)
Pharmaceutical science is involved with the proposal and development of new clinical drugs. It explores the different sources of medicine, how they function and how they can be designed (eg tablets, creams, and inhalers), analyzed and tested. This course provides a wide understanding of all aspects of the pharmaceutical industry with a particular emphasis in the final year on public health and the safety, regulations, and evaluation of scientific data of new drugs.
The new and growing profession of regulatory affairs will be explored through a specialized module where you will gain experience in producing legal applications for new drug licenses. This course has been closely designed with the input of The Organisation for Professionals in Regulatory Affairs.
